Hi everyone, just looking for some advice on facial hair removal. I have recently decided to start taking better care of my skin, and I have had this problem with a certain spot on my face for a few years which I now want to fix. About three years ago I had a mole removed from my chin, the surgeon did a really good job and left no noticeable damage to my skin. However, the type of treatment I had done allowed hair to continue growing through the area where the mole was removed. I am now 20, and my facial hair is getting thicker. When my hair grows through this area, it really aggravates it, and it turns very red and becomes very noticeable (the thick hairs also cause a sort of shadow, they grow at a different angles to other facial hairs). I can pluck the hairs out when long (there's about 5 or 6, as its a small area), and it looks awesome, no problems, you cannot tell I ever had anything there. However, in about 2 weeks time, they start growing back, and it looks even worse than before. Then I have to wait until it grows even more before I can pluck again. I can't shave the area as the hairs still aggravate the are underneath. Also sometimes the area can get infected as the hairs grow through at a strange angle. I know nothing about permanent hair removal, but I would love to just have those 5-6 hairs gone for good! As thick hairs, is this actually possible? Or is there any other way of temporarily removing them without force? Thanks in advance. |
