Hi, I'm new to this site and forum, so maybe some of you guys can help me out a little. I am just turning 50 and have very good skin but I just started noticing a couple of lines under my eyes, I don't know, maybe it's just me seeing things, that's what my 23 year old daughter says! But I'm a bit interested in making homemade vitamin c serum or cream to try under my eyes, do anyone in the room have any ideas or recipes for homemade eye serums, or maybe direct me in the right direction, HELP!!  |

This is the one that I make and see excellent results from as far as smoothness, brightening/lightening and clarity:

AA2G is a more stable form of vitamin C and doesnt require the low pH of L-ascorbic acid that is so irritating. Give it a try! You wont be sorry once you get the hang of making it. |

| I used about a 1/4 teaspoon of the L-Ascorbic Acid Powder, let it dissolve completely in 5ml of mineral water and then added about 8 small drops of the vegetable glycerin. I dislike adding too much of the glycerin because it makes my combination skin too oily. And at this formulation, the watery serum stings my skin slightly for under a minute and it isn’t sticky. The amount of vitamin C is probably too diluted but I want my skin to get used to it before I gradually increase the amount. |
