Just wondering which product is great to hydrate your lips, any suggestions? I use Sothys products however I am not against trying others. I do have a terrible reaction however to Yonka products. |

I've used Kiehl's lip balm and EA 8 hour, and they are good at hydrating my dry lips. But I only use them at night as I'd like to wear something which gives a nice smell and has a little bit shine during the day. |

Aquaphor, best thing I ever used on my lips. I use the little samples I get from the pediatrician, lol. |

I love the Blistex Lip Medex in the blue pot...this is the only product that will keep my lips hydrated all night. (I often breathe through my mouth which dries out my lips terribly) |

My new favorite lip product is Clinique Repairwear intensive lip treatment. Here is my review:

I've been using the Lips2Kiss system & I really like it. Once in a while I will use Aquaphor ointment & that works well too. |

Aquaphor is cheap and very effective. It also comes in handy for other uses. I had some kind of awful skin reaction on my eyelids some months ago--they were scaly, painful, and even cracked a bit. Nasty! Nothing seemed to help till I tried slathering them twice daily with Aquaphor. It could have been a coincidence, but they did clear up once I started using the Aquaphor.
I really like non-petrolatum based products as a general matter, though. I'm currently using a camellia oil based balm from Julie Hewett--I figure I'd rather have that on my lips than a petroleum product. (Not that I think petroleum jelly is harmful; just at the margins, I'd prefer something a bit more in the fruit and vegetable department on my lips instead.) |

I use Nivea lip moisturizer. Also Lavera lipsticks are very good. |

If you really want to hydrate your lips rather than just add something moisturising on top of them, then you cant beat Lips2kiss. You dont even have to buy the whols system, just some night glaze. Lovely stuff. |

Several years ago, Winnie suggested balms made from emu oil. You can find them on the web and I've found them to be the best night balm for me. I don't even know where my last ones were from. I just googled it and went for the the purest and least expensive ones. My lips are very dry and miserable in the winter. but the balm really helps. HTH |

I've come to the conclusion that anything with SPF or suncreen is drying, espically in fall & winter.
I have been suffering for 2 weeks already and still searching for the right product.
Please Help |

I second the Blistex Lip Medex. I also like Burts Bees lip balm (original). |

Depends on the season. For the winter or on really cold days, I like to use Smith's Rosebud Salve. It's really thick and greasy (in a good way) so that your lips stay moisturized and protected.
For the summer or on hotter days, I use Burt's Bees original lip balm. I love the beeswax texture and the cold minty feeling you get when you apply the balm. It's not too greasy at all and leaves your lips hydrated. |

I use just a regular lip balm that you can buy at Walmart or any drugstores to hydrate my lips, before bedtime and in the morning before I put my lipstick on. This makes my lips hydrated and no lines on my lips.
I don't have a particular brand as I always like to try different ones all the time. Currently I use NIVEA, but will switch again as soon as I finish this balm.

The 'chapstick' product from SkinActives is amazing. I tried it just because I was already ordering stuff and it is out of the box fabulous. Surprise Surprise. |

Chapped lips is a problem that I had from the day dot and all the products I tried worked temporarily. I have been using Elizabeth Arden eight hour cream in the pot and it has been fab. No chapped lips since! |
