I've noticed over the past couple of years that my lip line is getting less and less defined. I've been filling it in with lip liner/tint. I guess that's why lip liner was invented.
Is there anything more permanent I can do about my lip line that will still look natural?

Flattening of the lipline is one of the many signs of the aging face. It helps to have the philtral columns revitalized with a little gel filler (juvederm, or other). These are those little columns under the nose and when they are prominent as in a young individual, they help to form a "bow" shape in the upper lip. A little filler alonog the vermillion border (where the pale skin turns to pink) will also help to give definition to lips and in some cases will pull out any small vertical line that have formed.
The philtral column augmentation is very long lasting as it doesn't get a lot of motion. It's not permanent, but it is a good place to start.
I have noticed that using the Tua Tr'end has made my lips more defined, as well. |

A few suggestions: Cheap or free are lip exercises - Carole Maggios are wonderful. They work to decrease sinking lips.
Use hyaluronic acid tablets - 100 mg a day will help the plump factor.
A more costly method - but cheaper than fillers in the long run:
Get a Pico toner and you can use this on the lips to lift them (as well as the rest of your face and body). |

| Yeh I'm 36 and noticed that the line of my upper lip is lighter in color than the rest of my lip color. The definition is there, it's just the same color as my skin now instead of my lip color! I don't think plumping could help that issue since it's only a color issue. Guess lip liner could help, though sucks cause I don't like to wear any lip makeup at all. |

| I have the same problem and i have been wondering if its worth getting semi permanent make up done there, the lip line and a blush over the lips, but i also have a pico toner and was wondering if it would affect the results, as in would it disperse the inks from the make up, not sure how to make my lips plumper with the toner either... |
