I have acne prone and very sensitive skin (due to going crazy with exfoliation). Just saw my dermatologist today. I dont know how I feel about her, her skin is not that great, and she always seems in such a rush. Anyways, she recommend Klaron lotion as it is safe for sensitive skin.
Has anyone ever used this treatment? Does it work?
My main concern is that I found out online that it is an antibiotic (yeah she did not even mention this). Will I build resistance to it? Will my skin be worse when I stop using it?
Thank you for your help! This forum has been more helpful than all four dermatologists I have seen. |

Topical antibiotics will cause you less systemic issues than from oral antibiotics.
I would try it and follow the directions exactly. I think most people have issues with topical meds because they don't follow the directions!
I know when I first started retin-a I thought a pea sized smear wasn't close to enough so - no surprise it gave me horrible redness and peeling. |
