Hi everyone, I'm new here, and at the risk of sounding totally crazy, I have a question on lasers....
I have read horror stories about laser-induced hair growth.
Well, facial hair is the bane of my existence and I have never used any kind of laser.
However, at the chiropracter today, they used cold laser therapy for about five minutes on my jaw area. Now I am FREAKING out, wondering if this kind of laser can induce hair growth. I know I sound paranoid.
Can someone please tell me I'm being ridiculous.... and/or give any feedback on if I need to worry about this. |

Looks like Cold Laser Therapy is basically LED light therapy. It isn't going to cause you to grow hair.
But first, you need to be able to trust your doctor (and yourself) to ask/answer questions before you start a new treatment. Make sure he or she knows your fears and answers all your questions before you get started on something new. |
