Hi fine folks,
I hope you are all doing well today.
This is the first time I post on these boards, so hi to all of you
I am writing to ask for your help in assessing the quality of my newly bought Skinceuticals CE Ferulic, which I got from a top-rated seller on Ebay. I paid a fraction of what it'd otherwise cost me, so it was worth it. I've posted about this on the Longecity boards, however, because of a larger volume of people here, I decided to expand it out to you guys, for more opinions before I start using this. In that original post, I took pictures of it, so I'll refer you to those for you to see the pictures of how it looks up close.
I received the batch today, with 6 small bottles of the product. First thing I did was to pull the glass pipette out and drew some of the serum out. Held against a white wall, it is pretty much transparent, if not with a minute, intsy trace of amber (note: trace). Maybe it's my perception, because I've seen reports of it having that color, since it it's really clear To the naked eye, it blends in against a white wall. I could be seeing this because it ends up becoming amber at some point. Often people throw around it's aroma as that of "hot dog." Mine has a whiff of this as well, I can report.
Thank you for your time in reading this post. Being that this is the first time I see this product up close, I'd appreciate input from everyone of you who've had experience using it in all its forms
thanks you and god bless
Pictures: Because I'm unable to link to any websites as a new member, I kindly ask that you go to the "Ageless" section of the Longecity forums for my post. It's right at the top, entitled "Help assess quality of my Skinceuticals CE Ferulic." I'd be so grateful |

I've never used a Skinceutical CE serum that hasn't suffered from some degree of oxidation. Now I use Cosmetic Skin Solutions exclusively- it is always, without fail, as clear as water. I always get the tingle! |

Thank you for your reply And many thanks for tuning me onto Cosmetic Skin Solutions as a cheaper alternative.
Is this the one you use, if I'm not mistaken?
"Vitamin C+E SERUM ADVANCED FORMULA + Prevent | 15% Vitamin C | Photo-Aging Defense." Found it at their official website, where you can also order it.
I'd more than appreciate it if you could link to the appropriate link as I'm a new member and don't have the right as yet.
May I also ask how your experience has been with it, as compared to Skinceuticals in terms of quality and effetivity? As or not as effective? On par?
Thank you |

Hi Twinkle, you're welcome!
Its exactly the same product with the same ingredients- even down to the preservatives. I found it actually works better than the Skinceuticals because it is always fresh and clear. This c serum really plumps up my cheekbone area and you feel it tingle (from the active vitamin c I'm assuming).
I think you have the right product in your postm but here is a direct link:
