What do you think of Olay's total effects body lotion? It has such ingredients as niacinamide and vitamin E to allegedly improve skin's appearance and fight aging.
Have you ever used this product? If so, did it improve your skin? |

I guess niacinamide is really gd to people with oily skin like me. My acne heals faster with it and my face is less as oily. I am planning to diy my own vit b3 essence, but yet to be able to look for a supplier in my hometown. |

Why does this product contain so many amino acids?
Do amino acids thwart aging in some way? |

Maybe post all the details on the product, Veronica, a full list of ingredients with any percentages you can find by Googling? We can't help you working blind.
A recent discussion on amino acids, no proven anti-ageing benefit was noted. I was under the impression they could help hydrate the skin but that is all. http://www.skincaretalk.com/t/32187/new-product-from-skinactives-amino-booster |

Niacinamide is a really great ingredient, and many Olay products contain it. As for this particular product, I've used it before and I found it to help normalize my cracked skin a bit. Nothing too dramatic, but as far as the ingredients list goes, it is actually a very good product. The only things that are bad on there would be the fragrance and colouring - but they are quite low on the ingredients list, so if you don't find it irritating, it should be fine. The amino acids are a bit strange to see, but they are harmless since our own bodies are made up of those biomolecules. I say it's worth a shot |

I wonder why this product has so many parabens?
Is it because of all the amino acids in there? |

Olay products usually have lots of paraben preservatives in them. |
