I tried to do several types of searches for acne scars, scars and for some reason the search engine keeps saying that there are no results. I was hoping to be able to research here, but without any search results.... gah! How frustrating.
Anyway, I am a (mostly) reformed skin-picker. This last year I was very hard on my skin (too much stress). I am left with two deep crater scars, and several pores close to one of the scars that are very enlarged.
I have retin a and thought about starting it, but after reading here and how many have trouble with even rougher texture and ruined skin, I don't think I want to start it.
Anyone here have any advice? I haven't tried dermarolling (though I do have rollers) as I'm not sure what products to use along with the rolling to achieve the best results.
Can anyone tell me what has worked for them? I'd like to try some at-home options before opting for Restylane to plump them up
Alternately, if anyone can tell me what I'm doing wrong as far as doing a search for "acne scars", I would greatly appreciate it!!
I'm a pretty girl (I say 'girl' but I'm in my 40's) but these scars especially are really hurting my self esteem at this point. Now that I haven't picked anything in over a month, I feel ready to start addressing the damage I caused. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me. |

Have you tried any natural remedies... Such as
Organc Argan oil; it has the property of soothing and repairing damaged skin and does wonder on acne blemishes.

Lactic acid peels. Don't do at home, it just doesn't seem to work out, go to a professional high end salon every month and spend the dough to have it done. It will help the pores and slowly help the scars. At home, you can wear Eucerin sunscreen for the face it has some lactic acid and you can do yogurt masks every few days to helps the pores and scarring. Good luck!! |
