Hello.
I'm trying to find a really good cleanser that is very gentle and most importantly fragrance-free.
I'm allergic to almost all perfume-y smells. I've tried the Cetaphil cleanser and although it has no smell, I didn't like that it left a film on my face. I've also tried CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser but there is some odd smell that lingers on my face...same with Neutrogena Extra Gentle Cleanser.
May I ask for any of your favorite recommendations? Thank you. |

Hi, northwinds.
I’ve been using Neutrogena’s ULTRA gentle cleanser.
From the pump bottle >
-- developed to cleanse sensitive skin
-- Non- stripping formula cleanses w/o disrupting natural moisture balance
-- rinses clean, leaves no residue
Though, the last item on the ingredient listing is *fragrance*, however, I haven’t experienced any adverse reactions to the very mild *fruity* scent. |

I can recommend two cleansers.
Boots Expert Sensitive Gentle Cleansing Lotion
http://us.boots.com/product/4404
This is fragrance free and great for my sensitive skin. I use this to remove my sunscreen and makeup. It removes even the most waterproof sunscreens and yet is not harsh at all. I apply to dry skin and then remove with a wet muslin. Then I follow up with a quick cleanse with my second recommendation Dove Sensitive Skin Unscented Soap Bar.

I got in the double cleansing habit years ago and it works well for me. You could easily use either cleanser by itself. However, if you use the Dove Soap by itself it might take two cleanses to remove waterproof sunscreen. Once in a while I will use only the Boots Lotion cleanser and this works fine. Boots also makes a foaming cleanser in the same Expert Sensitive line but I found it too drying. |

Purpose by Johnson and Johnson. Only one I use and it cleanses even the most delicate skin without fragrance or residue.
My derms all recommend it.
I have tried Cetaphil many times in the past and it is just okay for me. |

I use QV cleansing milk and Derml message conditioner. Derml has a concept is serum for wash. Both are good for my sensitive skin. |
