Has anyone ever had seborric dermatitis on their face? I have a small patch of red skin on my cheek and have tried everything to get rid of it.....Any ideas? |

Yes, I'm very familiar with SD. But it won't show up as a rough patch on a cheek. There's a common pattern to SD - usually along the hairline, between the eyebrows, the eyebrows themselves, and around the nostrils down the nasolabial folds. It looks like facial dandruff (large dry flakes) over oily looking skin.
It's fungal in nature so it's best to learn one's triggers so these ingredients can be avoided. Many common emollient ingredients are culprits since they feed the "fungus" associated with SD.
I would suggest that you see your derm for a proper diagnosis for your red patch. |
