Hey everyone,
I'm a 28 year old male with a conundrum.. I'm loosing my hair and have a product I use to help keep it (called minoxidil). It works quite well to improve and maintain my hair, but a side effect of it seems to be that it increases rings under my eyes - i think this is cause by slightly puffing the area under my eyes, which in turn causes that moon shaped creasing from one corner of my eye to the other. I wear glasses 95% of the time but I still dont like having prematurely aged/tired eyes. Last time I went off minox after a year the lines went away with time..but so did a lot of my hair.. this is the conundrum!
What I'm wondering is if you look at my pics if you can suggest any specific products, exercises, diet or overall approaches to helping me reduce the effects. It is believed that minox can partially inhibit collagen so this may be one factor. At the moment I've been using ROC retinol Eye corexion twice a day for a few months and take a Swisse Hair Skin Nails tablet each day and drink plenty of water. But I don't see any improvement.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I have a pic to show you but the forum wont let me link it because I'm new, so replace the (dot) below with an actual fullstop when you paste it into your address bar. thx!

Looked at your picture. I wear glasses 95% of the time as well. After my shower in the evening I sit for 30minutes with cottonwool pads soaked in ice cold water on my eyes. This relaxation seems to work for me. I then put my Monsia Intense Night Repair Cream on and go to bed. Lots of sleep helps as well. You know your skin does not look old just maybe a little tired. I think if you try my relaxation program it will help you. Let me know - I've been doing this for over 50 years now and I don't have any lines around my eyes yet. |

Minoxidil cause a lower production of collagen... I forget how it does so, but it does. My advice. Find n alternative, or yo may be looking at more damage (btw no guarantee it will reverse if you stop)......
Id stop if I were you |
