Hi Y'all
I'm looking to mix up my makeup regime, starting with my foundation, I'm currently using Bare Minerals which I have been using since I was a teenager. As the years have gone by my skin has become dryer and the powder seems to accentuate the fine lines starting to form around my eyes and forehead.
Does anyone use any really great hydrating liquid foundations they would recommend ? I need a fair amount of coverage and go for the dewy look.
Looking forward to hearing some recommendations

Hey i started wearing mineral at one point (cant now because of acne) i found putting on a really oily moisturiser beforehand helped it not look so dry but obviously that wouldn't be for everyone.
One foundation i love now is bourjois healthy mix serum gel foundation, its sort of medium coverage but i think its build able and its got some dewiness to it but not sparkly or anything like some ive tried before.
I apply with a beauty blender Hope that helps! |

I layer Laneige BB Cushion foundation with IT Cosmetics CC Cream and then conceal with Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer or Cle de Peau concealer stick.
Set t-zone and under eye area only with By Terry or Cle De Peau powder so rest of face remains dewy looking.
This gives me a sweatproof, long lasting base that lasts the whole day, even after a gym workout. Underneath it all, I have serum, moisturizer and sunscreen. |

I have been a die-hard Illuminare liquid mineral makeup gal for almost ten years now. I have tried others in between from Armani to Make-Up Forever to Lancome to Urban Decay to Bobbi Brown, etc - but nothing gives me a soft, natural, dewy coverage the way Illuminare does. They have several formulations and I use the moisturizing one. The only caveat is very few color choices - but I have found when my skin is a bit more "yellow" toned in the winter I mix just the tiniest drop of their liquid blush in with the foundation and it makes it the perfect shade - just a bit more neutral than yellow. For reference, in MAC I was an NC20 and I use Florentine Fair.

I think you can correct the concern by searching for more hydrating foundation, but to me, I would put some hydrating serum before foundation and I think it will work well. I use hydrating serum such as iS clinical hydr-cool serum. Hydrating serum will make your skin plumber and makeup stay put longer. |

I am pretty sure you will never find a better hydrating foundation than Oxygenetics. Most of Hollywood uses this product and it wont aggravate your skin. Do some research and check it out, its expensive but you use very little and it gives your skin a natural, flawless, glow. YOu also DONT need to use a primer, as the product is like a perfect primer and foundation. It also heals the skin, by being a breathable layer, so your skin gets more oxygen. I LOVE it and use it in combination with mineral makeup. |
