I'm 29 years old and have recently become obsessed with the signs of aging that I'm experiencing. I've always had bags under my eyes but they've become worse over the years, and I'm experiencing some sagging on the sides of my mouth and some fine lines.

I follow a whole foods, plant-based diet and drink at least 3 litres of water a day, but I do drink alcohol frequently and smoke occasionally (a couple of cigarettes on the weekends).

I decided to try a retinol product and purchased Miracle by radha beauty day/night retinol moisturizer.

Used it probably too much for a couple of weeks then noticed overnight, it caused deep wrinkles under my eyes! I had puffy eye bags but never wrinkles like this. After research I saw that this is probably not permanent. I've stopped using the retinol at all and went back to using coconut oil as a moisturizer and an under eye gel (Body C Vitamin C Eye Gel)

I'm starting to see a little bit of improvement but not much. It's only been 2 weeks.

But ANYWAYS I was browsing Wal-Mart trying to look for undereye creams and other anti-aging products and just felt overwhelmed. I even debated getting collagen supplements with vitamin C but put it back. Ended up not getting anything except a moisturizing cleanser for my dry skin.

What drugstore/Wal-Mart products have you used that you liked? Have you seen results? Has anyone tried supplements and saw results?

Please let me know if you have any recommendations for me, especially my undereye puffiness and wrinkles Sad

Sorry for all the questions, this is my first time posting.

Hi! I just wanted to say that when I first started using tretinoin my eye wrinkles worsened before improving, because of how it dries/flakes your skin when you start using it before it gets better.

I'm 25, and this was last year. It took a while to tough out the flaking stage, but it made a marked positive change in both my eye wrinkles and the texture of my whole face.

Hope that helps.

Okay at 29 years you are still young and so don’t become obsessed.

Now whole foods, plants based diet sounds great. And 3 litres of water is good too. Smoking and alcohol though are going to undo all your efforts. Its fine to have an ocassional glass but if you are doing so on a frequent basis – you are undoing all your hard work.

Now with the bags under your eyes, these can be due to a lack of quality sleep I’ve heard. How well/deep do you sleep?

Skin is always changing, and so your right 2 weeks isn’t long enough for a complete cycle but if you are seeing results coming that shows you are on the right track.

I like the ROC line. I use the MAXX set (about $2Cool at Wal-Mart. I used it for about a month before I noticed results. They have many other products in their line, and sometimes I can find a $3 off coupon to use.

I always keep my receipt and original packaging when I buy a new product. Wal-Mart, CVS,Walgreens, etc have a 100% return policy, so you can return it within a reasonable time period if it doesn't work out.
