What is Dermaroller exactly?
i have researched getting rid of acne scarring and came across dermarollers.
what exactly is it and where could i get it and has it been effective for anyone? |

I'm not surprised  but having said that, they do work and you can get very tiny needles that you hardly feel when your using the dermaroller to help with product penetration. Personally I'm not that big on dermarollers but do own a whole slew of antiaging devices  |

what anti aging devices do you
my biggest concern is ice pick acne scarring which is very difficult or imposssible to get rid of |

See my signature for all the devices. For acne scarring you might like to purchase the antiaging light stim, which will help increase the health of your skin and in turn stimulate collagen that will fill in those little ice pick scars. The Palo Via is to do the same thing as the dermaroller only mechanically but it is quite pricey.
Setting up a good skin care regime including Retional, Alpha Hydroxy Acids, and Vitamin C will also help. |

| thanks for your feedback. i looked up the light slim and it doesn't mention it filling up ice picks as one it's benefits but I will give it a try if you have said it works for you |

| You would be interested in anything that improves and stimulates the collagen in your skin as it will help remodel those scars. LED light (not only the lightstim even though it's one of the best models to date) is renowned for it's anti-aging capabilities and wrinkle reduction this is caused through the stimulation of collagen. I personally dont have scarring but do have some fine lines etc so mainly use devices that will help collagen grow. Also very interested in the Palo Via which sounds like in theory is supposed to work similarly to a shallow needled dermaroller just extremely more expensive. |

I have a light stim and do not find it helpful for indentation scarring. I would be really surprised if it did improve that type of scarring for anyone.
For at home devices I do think dermarolling in the way to go for that type of scarring. |

I completely agree but not so much if your uncomfortable with dermarolling. Got any other ideas for home devices? |
