I was just wondering what would be the best way to get a vein under the eye removed?
It has a few spider veins around it but overall its not all that noticible
But is the injection method the best thing to do? And can that be done by a dermotoligist?
Thanks in advance for any feedback |

I've talked to a Dr about this before and decided against having this done around the eye area (I had it done on my legs though). If it's a little broken capillary then you can get it lasered, if it's a bigger vein then you can get it injected. I had the injections done a few years ago so there might now be some new alternatives perhaps? Either way, the injecting works quite well (it has for me) but I prefer to just hide the vein under my eye with some Jane Iredale Circle Delete. Do be aware that some people can get long-term or permanent pigmentation after the vein collapses (a brown mark where the vein used to be), so the procedure is not without possible side effects. |

Allright, thanks for the info
Is it expensive to get just like a single vein done?
I'll find out soon but any more info would be apreciated |

When I got it done it cost me around Au$300 (might have been a bit less) without the other stuff I needed (pressure bandages etc). I would imagine the prices in the US would be very different though... |

oh really, yeah hopefully the price is not too high to get this job done and the results are good. |

No way! If the vein is too close to the eye, it might be dangerous. My dermatologist said they do not touch veins under eyes. |

I had a spider vein onface and the dermtologist zapped it with a little pen like instrument...it was gone, he didnt charge much and it was gone..I have heard though they tend to come back.I forgot the name of the procedure he called it. |

I am using my .15mm roller to try and thicken the skin under my eyes to hide the vein...we'll see if it works or not! |

It might have been diathermy. It's an advanced form of electrolysis where the vein is zapped away with a needle. I had this treatment on some small veins in my face 15 years ago. They did never come back. The treatment is affordable and effective, but best suited on the smaller veins. |

Just wondering if you had any luck in the end with the dermaroller Bethany? |
