Do you have oily skin to begin with? I assume so given that you're using the normalising oil. Hopefully others who have used it before will help you out here. My suggestion would be to use less and also to give it more time (3 days is not enough). |

Dr Hauschka makes a clarifying toner that might be suitable for you. I haven't tried it though as I use the standard one. I do believe you can buy little minis of their products, which would be better than just buying the full size without knowing if you'll like it. |

Before I started making my own ACV toner, I used the Dr H clarifying toner. It's quite nice and not overly-drying. Definitely worth a try! |

Hi Mabsy would just like to say have started with dr h cleansing cream and so far so good. My skin does feel to be getting dryer, peeling a little round nose, which may be good as this is where some blocked pores are lurking! Should I be using a different cleanser for removing makeup as I have seen this on one of the threads, and if so which would anyone recommend for combo skin? I have not yet purchased the is clinical range, still saving but hope to get there soon. Also have heard that toners are recommended with the cleanser, any recommendations on these?
I can recommend the deramlogica moisturisers, I loovve the smoothing cream, although this doesn't give an spf which I know I now should be using.
I am not a lover of the MD formulations, it did nothing at all for my pores! Also the vitaplus eye cream has given me swollen pockets under eyes that were not previously there Will try more sleep Anyway any recommendations gratefully received. |

monalisasmiler - what type of skin do you have? I didn't expect you to say that your skin is getting drier because my experience with the cleanser has been the opposite. I also didn't get any peeling please keep an eye on that and stop if it gets worse I guess.
You do need a different cleanser in the evening if you are wearing makeup. Given what you just said about your skin being drier and flaking, I would suggest that you go for a cleansing milk/lotion or cleansing oil. Babor and Decleor make really good cleansing oils.
I think the toners are not critical but I like using them so I do I like the Dr H toner (the normal one) and also Phytomer Face Dew. The latter will also add a bit of moisture to your skin. |
