yes, I have used this before. I used the one for all over the face and didn't really see any results...of course I was 19 when I used it and didn't really have any dark circles--just old acne marks. I think that vit. K is a good vitamin for dark circles and helping regenerate skin.
I would give it a try..just under the eye... and tell us about it (haiku?) |

I haven't used it but I'd just like to caution you about taking vit K supplements without needing them. Vit K helps blood clot - I gather from this that you don't want to have too much of that (or, indeed, not enough of it) in your body. I know that when I had surgery once I started bleeding all over the place and the surgeon pumped me full of vit K to try to stop it (he told me this while he was berrating me for taking chinese medicine that he thought was responsible). |

I heard vit. k s a good under eye treatment because it can restrict blood flow to the area, which is a cause of darkness. I would advise laying off the supplements, but you can also try cellex-c products their serums are great for aging and can be used under the eye. So that means less products needed and happier eyes! |

Eye Bright from Cellularskinrx.com has worked well for my circles. Also, Peter Thomas Roth K Power Eye Rescue and Teamine Eye moisturizer with green tea in it have worked well for me.
I have stuck with the EB because the other two are a bit expensive for everyday use and it seems to have the best brightening ability. |

Applied topically yes - don't mess with vit K in your body unless you have a deficiency. |

I think anything you use will take some time to work. You should give a cream probably about 2 months before you write it off as not doing anything. Having said that, you should also at the same time investigate WHY you have dark cirles. It could for example be due to allergies, so unless you get a handle on those you're fighting a losing battle.... |

IMHO getting your allergies under control is first priority. How long have you been on Benadryl? Is it working for you? If not, perhaps your doctor can prescribe stronger medication? For some people controlling allergy is all thats needed to get rid of the dark circles.
Now about Vit K - I have not used the particular product you are asking about but I can vouch that Vit K has helped lighten my dark circles. It took a while though, 3 months before any perceptible lightening and after a full year 75% improvement. (The remaining 25% is hopeless as my condition is hereditary )

Hiya ffmaster,
Sadly, there is no overnight miracle cure for dark circles (yet)
Sorry but I can't give you any advice on the Benadryl coz I'm not a doctor. Please consult with one soon to ask abt increasing the dosage, as well as explore other remedies. Again, I believe your best shot at getting rid of the dark circles is with the medication that best suits your needs and use of your Vit K product. And, since you want to see results as quickly as possible, consider other product options. There are many Vit K products out there and the concentrations and delivery systems vary. The forum has many threads on this subject you may want to check out.
Good luck! Hope it all works out for you. |
