I've been very successful using a combination of Dr. Hauschka and Yonka products, but lately I've been itching to try something different. I've been very intrigued by the decleor balms but I'm not sure which one would be right for me. I have normal/combo skin. I'm leaning towards the essential balm. Would this be the right choice to break into the decleor balms?
Thanks,

I've been using the EB for a week now for congestion and I'm happy to say it is making a visible difference. It dries me out a tad too much if I use it all over my face so I'm using it as a spot treatment. I was going to get the Ylang-Ylang balm to match the YY oil I use during the day but now I'm more inclined to get the EB. I'll use it for a week more and then decide.
What Dr. Hauschka and Yonka products are you using now? And what skin issues are you trying to address? |

I'm a big fan of Decleor's Baume Essentiel. It works really well on my hormonal breakouts. I use it the week before and the week after my period to help clear any spots. Decleor recommend that you use it for only 2 weeks every month as otherwise it can be quite drying due to its drawing action.
I've also tried the Ylang Ylang balm. I think it is better suited to oily skins as it can be very drying on the skin. I have oily skin but I find that I can only use the Ylang Ylang balm for a very short stint as it starts to dry the skin out on my chin and nose. |

i have YY and Essential balms...and I like them very much. Both go on oily initially and stay that way for a long time. With YY I wake up with matt but glowing face with EA I wake up with plump and glowing skin....I never stick with them for more than a few weeks at a strech though...and my 30 ml jars are going to last forever!
I think those lines will compliment each other beautifully. |

I love the Essential one and have a full size of this. I also have some samples of the Ylang Ylang and the Rose and like those too!
I think the Essential one would be the best one for you to go for. You don't use this one non stop or it will dry out your skin. It's wonderful for decongestion though! |

Thanks for all the advice. I think I'm going to start off with the essential balm. Due to everyone's recommendations I get the feeling this will be yet another product I'm going to end up loving. I will admit, it is becoming more difficult to hide all my things from my husband

HI!!!
I can only agree with what the other ladies have already said.
I´m a big fan of Decleor and their balms are just divine!!!!!!
I have combo skin too, and I´m using both the essential balm and the ylang-ylang balm. Both work very well for me!
Highly recommended skincare line, IMO.
Good luck to you!!
