Hey
I am TOTALLY addicted to the EDS website and to checking out this forum - my eyes are going squint!!! hours just seem to swish by and I want to try ALL the products!!!!
I'm really itching to get some of Jane Iredale's products. Love the look and sound of them....
I've specificaly been looking at:
CircleDelete 2
Pressed Mineral Powder Base - Natural
The Handi Brush
Camouflage Brush
PureLash Thickener & Conditioner
Disappear - Light
Anyone using/used any of these? What's your opinion on thier products? Are they as fantastic as they seem? Please HELP!

I also think I've developed a need for a vit c serum, after reading all of your fantastic experiences and reviews. But to be completely honest, I don't think I've completely understood how to use it - does one apply it to certain "needy" areas or the whole face? does the vit c evaporate???
I'm currently using
MD Formulations Face Cleanser with Glycolic Acid (pm sometimes am)
Decleors Matifying Lotion (am + pm)
Decleors Harmonie gentle soothing creme (am + sometimes pm)
the aromessence neroli (pm + sometimes am)
aromessence baume essentielle (pm)
not a lot of products compared to many of you...but I'm a late bloomer when it comes to skin care But I'm learning and enjoying this new world tremendously
for breakouts I've got MD Formulations Skin perfection gel and I use one of Decleors masks about once a week, which exfoliates as well...
anyways...I'm thinking that it can't be all good with only exfoliating - and your talk about vit-c has got me wondering...Is this the answer to my dreams?
I've got large pores on my chin and tend to get a few blackheads (cheeks), whitheads (chin + nose area) and "lumps of fat" under my skin (jaw line + lower part of face) (yuck!!!) Being a naughty girl I can't help but squeeze some of these invaders...invariably leaving a bit of a red mark, or blemish...
Should I maybe change my routine and add a few vit c products?? What do you think...?
another thing (whilst I'm at it ), I received a sample of phytomer from EDS...it's a green liquid...what do I do with it?
Hope you can help me! and have a lovely weekend!

the only one I have is The Handi brush and yes it is as fabulous as everyone says. When I first got it I was really disapointed at how small it was, this brush is tiny!!!
However the bristles are so soft and you can target specific areas when brushing on powder. I now want to buy more Handi's: another for my blusher and one for my bronzer.
Buy this, you will love it |

I have all of those except for the concealer brush
The Handi brush is the best brush that I have tried so far for mineral makeup, particularly mineral makeup of the pressed kind... I love Circle Delete - it's creamy, not drying, and covers well. Disappear is also very good - I don't reach for this often as I haven't been getting any pimples or marks on my face recently. The lash thickener is good as well, again I haven't been reaching for it much recently (I think I used it once all of last week) because I just don't really need it unless I'm dressing up to go out somewhere at night. The JI pressed mineral makeup is my favorite mineral foundation so far - easiest and least messy with the most natural look (I'm using Warm Silk).
Re: vitamin C. It's used all over your face and can also be used around the eye area (there are lower concentration serums for that but some can pull of the same concentration). You'd be looking to use this once a day only - I use mine in the mornings before I apply any moisturiser. |

Thanx Mabsy and Rosebud
I've found a salon not far from work where they carry JI and do makeup courses, so I'm going to treat myself to an hour of learning to use JI, find out which colours are me and then order my goodies
Back to Vitamin C... I have fine lines in the eye area and next to nothing in the rest of my face...what concentration should I start off with, 10% enough? |

I think 10% is a good one to start with.
Btw, does the "green liquid from Phytomer" have a name? |

...no, no name on the bottle! It just says phytomer, it's a semi scary poison green "wet" liquid... |

If it has no name (it should have one!) and it's green then it could also by the Phyto Corrective...
I don't know why EDS doesn't ship Skinceuticals outside of Northern America anymore - if I had to guess I'd say that they're being restricted by the Skinceuticals distributors... |

After having read about both the corrective gel and the phyto+ I'm thinking that one of these might be a good try for my "lumpy" skin? ...I'm going to start using the sample I've got and see if anything happens... |
