I have had no breakouts with the Dr. H CC. However, I only use it every-other-day. So I don't know if that matters. Usually my skin tells me immediately if it doesn't like a product! And so far I'm finding it a very lovely product! |

I started using Dr. H CC at a time when my skin was not only breaking out but also extremely sensitive. I usually go through a purge when starting new products so I wa surprised (and elated! )that it did not happen with the CC. |

Okay, okay. Thank you once again. I don't have use of a credit card right now, does anyone know where I can purchase the Dr. H Cream Cleanser in Toronto?
Thanks!

Toronto_belle,
you can try some holistic grocery stores.. thats where i find my Dr. H products...
I have a question about the homemade version:
any of you here find it BETTER than the Dr. H if not, good enough to be worth all the grinding? again... I can't stress more... im a poor student haha i want to DIY as much as possible...
i know this is an old question... where can i find the recipe? and how long is the recipe good for? |

The Dr H cleansing cream recipe is in the DIY recipes thread, http://www.essentialdayspa.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=5981
I think if you use some essential oils such as tea tree, lemon etc, it will keep a lot longer, as they have antifungal properties. But because we can't store it in a tube shape container, it may oxidise a lot faster, I would make a new batch every few weeks. |

How often can you use it, and can you use it if you use RA on a regular basis? |

This cleansing cream is the best that I know of for removing blackheads and keeping skin clear. I am on my 3rd tube and I doubt I will ever stop using this. I am a Dr. H convert and now use all of the products for face (milk, cream, toner, masks, lotion) and even the hand cream, and shower gel. Nothing is better is my opinion. |

There is also another alternative called the Jurlique Face Wash Cream. Similar ingredients, but the 'grits' in Jurlique are much bigger, and the scent is simply divine!!
I have been through many tubes of Dr H CC and Jurlique, but in the end I think Jurlique is the winner. Calms my skin down like nothing, and with continued use all my blocked pores/blemishes disappear. |

Have been using this product for a month. Love it!!!
It makes my skin feel so soft and clean. But I still don't understand the press and roll method. Can anyone explain it? Thx~ |

Cut and pasted from Dr. Hauschka's site:
Our unique "press and roll" cleansing method goes beyond the surface to stimulate the lymph and awaken your skin. First, dampen your face with warm water and mix 1/2" Cleansing Cream with a few drops of water in your hand. Relax your hands to gently cup the face. Beginning at the forehead, press the product in using your fingers and the tops of your palms, rolling outward from the center and lifting as you roll. The mild suction created helps remove dead cells, dirt and oil. Work downward and outward with this press and roll motion for one to three minutes, then rinse with warm water and finish with a cool splash. |

I've just bought the Cleansing Cream from one of the local Dr. Hauschka counter. I'm so excited to try it... but then I've got to use up what I'm using now. Hope I'll get fantastic result as the rest of the people who are singing praises of the Cleansing Cream.
By the way, I got a good deal from the counter. That resulted me in bringing home a bagful of Dr. Hauschka products. |
