Hi there. I've just found this site and I love it - great advice. I'd really appreciate some advice on which product would work best on my under-eye dehydration lines and also a great firming cream/masque (some days it looks like my face would like to meet my feet!).
I keep seeing Esther's Secret Masque cropping up and was wondering if that might do the trick for 'firming'. If it would, is it expensive and can you get it in the UK?
Thanks in advance. |

Hi and welcome!
I'm not really big on eyecreams, but I have almost finished my Murad essential C eye cream (I bought it over a year ago Just as well it comes in a pump dispenser!). I found this to be really nice on my eyes and I would repurchase but I have a pump of the PSF eye cream (which is in a huge! container and will probably last me 3 years!) It has had good reviews here, so I hope it will be good for me too!
It is possible that you are dehydrated yourself so I would suggest lots of fluids, preferably water and you may find that a gentle exfoliation may help. When I say gentle that is what I mean. light strokes with a muslin cloth, not rubbing with a scrub.
For face firming ES mask is good and they do ship tot the UK, but a more day to day thing should have DMAE in it. Pref at a 8%of the bitartrate form. I currently use pure demming which is ok, but really messy, I am probably going to go for the DMAE silk from kripps pharmacy next. They shipp to the UK too. Alternatively, you could do worse than RoC's protient lift. It contains DMAE and has a really noticeable firming effect.

Thanks for that Liz. To be honest I do not drink enough water throughout the day and that's probably alot to do with it but some of the products you mention are worth checking out. I do use Roc Protient Lift night cream but it doesn't seem to haul my saggy cheeks up - maybe they're just beyond saving!!
I persevere though - never say never!!!! |

Interesting about the protient lift night. I had a sample of the serum, which you would expect to be stronger than the day stuff and it did nothing!
You could maybe try copper peptides, but I think it depends how far it has gone.
I have heard of theis retorelite thing which is supposed to be amazing. Developed in Durham uni or somewhere like that. It zaps your skin with infra red light and promotes skin firmness. My mate sent me the press clipping which said they were flogging them for £45. I figured it was worth a go at that price, but they are actually £135
May have to wait a while
The other thing you could try is facial exercises. I've never done it (hell, I'm too lazy for pelvic floor execises!), but lots on here have and look amazing! Do a search and it'll come up.
