I was just wondering if anyone had tried the Orlane " Extrait Vital Eye Contour Serum" (CA$42 for 10ml on EDS)
I was just browsing (and finding more products I want to try) and when I saw this I suddenly had a memory recovery of the worst moment of my life...
Several years ago I purchased this duty free and was so excited about using it... the very first time I opened it I accidentally dropped the bottle and ... and.... well, sufficed to say it was bye bye beautiful, expensive eye serum.
It was a truly traumatic event for me (so much so that I had pushed it to the depths of my mind and only remembered it now)
(OK so in terms of world hunger and war it was not so traumatic, but lets get real... shallow things matter too - especially as I was a very broke student at the time and had spent all my "skin care" fund to buy it  )
So, anyone actually tried it? I at least want to know what it was like.. maybe one day I will treat myself again... (although 8 years on, I am getting past the "preventative stage" for wrinkles) |

| I haven't tried this but I keep meaning to because I love their Extrait Vital for the face. It's the first "high end" skincare product that I used and I loved it back then. I bought it on EDS again and I'm just finishing the bottle. Lovely light texture - it is fragranced though, I thought I'd mention that because I know you don't like that... |

Funny thing is that it is only in the last few years that I have gone off fragranced products.
12 years back I was devoted 100% to Christian Dior skin care (OK, well maybe 99% cuz I did buy a couple of YSL items too) but now I wont/cant use it as the perfume is too strong.
Same with Guerlain, the strong perfume gets me and makes my eyes water.
I dont remember the eye serum having a fragrance, but then again, I only got to use it once.  I might check it out as DFS when I go home at Xmas!! |
