im interested in getting this cream.. my problem is mainly dark circles.. which were caused by rubbing.. and the only part thats really darker is the inner parts of my eyes but there quite dark.. i have some very small lines and maybe a bit of puffiness.. but my main problem is the dark circles.. im pretty sure the darkness comes from little broken capillaries under each eye because if i stretch the skin i can see these little tiny hair thick lines all over in the inner corners of my under eyes.. and one of the blood vessels under my eyes is actually leaking blood!.. so do you think this is a good eye cream for me? i heard vit k helps heal damaged blood vessels.. and has anyone had good experiences with this eye cream?

It's not a cream. It's a serum and it's not moisturizing. It does, however, brighten the dark circles. I also have found that Teamine (a cream and moisturizing) and Eye Bright (cellularskinrx) both are good undereye circle brighteners. The Teamine is not as good as the EB at brightening but it is more moisturizing as the EB is a serum similar to the PTR.

well like i said.. im really really wanting to get rid of the darkness under my eyes or at least diminish it a lot.. it bothers me quite a bit so i dont think i would mind if the ptr wasnt too moisturizing.. ive also did a search and some of the topics just look to be trying to sell the ptr.. heres one for example http://www.essentialdayspa.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=1937&highlight=power++eye .. i just find it odd that the first few posters are named ming and ling and than mabsy jumped in with a question.. so any reviews or experiences with this product are appreciated.. it isnt exactly cheap

Sorry, where am I jumping in with a question?

Take this for what you will but this is the one eye cream that has worked for my dark circles. I wouldn't classify it as a cream or a serum - it's a gel with tiny little black spheres in it (which are annoying because they're hard to break and they do need to be broken). It definitely isn't moisturising enough, but it was also definitely worth it for me even if I had to use something over the top. I would suggest you do another comprehensive search as there are many previous posts about this product (there was a big post about it in the last few weeks if I am not mistaken) - also look up MUA reviews while you're at it so you have more to make up your mind with. The story with this eye cream is similar to that of most skincare products - for some it worked, for some it didn't, some got skin irritations from it, some didn't. There is no way of telling whether or not it's going to be effective for you, much like other skincare items which tend to work better for some and not others.

One thing is for sure, if your dark circles are from rubbing your eyes then you should concentrate on kicking that habit or nothing else will help. In all honesty I don't know how the PTR Power K works on broken caps - I have a visible vein down the side of my left eye and that's still there. It *is* a vein rather than a broken capilary though, I guess it'd be kinda scary if the Power K could exterminate a vein Smile

I couldn't break those spheres so I stopped bothering. Does it need to be done! I tried it on the back of my hand with a nail and still it is difficult and I thought the product was going in to my hand rather than under my eye!

i have stopped rubbing my eyes but the damage is done.. vitamin k which is the main ingredient in the ptr is supposed to heal tiny spider veins or broken capillaries but from what ive read some people have had success and some dont.. i also found this and was wondering if anyone has tried it? it says right on the site that a lot of dark circles are caused by fragile/broken capilleries.

how long did it take you to see results using ptr mabsy?.. i also read a few other topics and you said you just had a general darkness under your eyes? do you know what it was from? was it just darkness or was it damaged blood vessels?

A few months, so it did take quite some time. I really don't know what the dark circles were from but it was just general darkness under the eyes (mainly in the inner corners) - not really caused by damaged blood vessels though. I still do have some tiny spider veins under my eyes when I look closely - this is unfortunately something that I cannot get rid of. I am pale and my skin is very transparent, when I went to see a Dr about this (it *really* bothered me at one stage!) she said that I shouldn't expect to get rid of these unless I gain weight. In her opinion in my case it was the lack of fat under the skin that was causing the veins to show through. HTH

Before I started to use PTR K I stretched the skin under my eye and could see little tiny bloody vessels. I used to rub my eyes a lot when I was younger (allergies) and suffered severe excema as a child.

I have been using PTR for maybe 3 weeks now and when I do the same thing I can't see them I've tried it at different times of the day different mirrors and they seem to have gone away. My dark circles look better; they haven't gone away or improved dramatically but better than they were.

wow thanks for the info.. seems like me and you had similar problems.. i have a history of eye allergies and also eczema in the cheek area under my eyes which could of caused some trouble to.. i already bought the ptr and am looking forward to using it.. because im pretty sure those litte blood vessels are causing a lot of the darkness.. i also read that vitamin k is usually hard to absorb into the skin.. but ptr has vitamin k in liposomes which go farther down into the skin.. and maybe that might be why its more effective than say vita-k.

sounds like it supercelebs. (my excema went away and is now returning and i am hating it i don't know what to do and don't want to put steroid creams on!)

i was honestly shocked with the PTR. I could see little squiggly vessels and when I look now they seem to have gone. my darkness is still there but then i think that is how it is going to be and i can't get rid of that (without surgery) but atleast that red/bruising type tinge that i had from the corners of my eye has diminished considerably. so good luck with the PTR.

Just an FYI -- I work selling PTR, and

http://www.peterthomasroth.com/peterthomasroth_products.asp?prod=masques

is the same as the Power K under eye brightener -- This was thwe original product, and people found it helped alot under eye, so they repackaged it. It's cheaper to get it in the masque.

those are all masks? and none of them seem to have similar ingredients to ptr eye rescue.
