   Usage

When to Use:
Vit-A-Plus should be used after cleansing once or twice daily. Vit-A-Plus should be applied after liquid or gel-based products such as Facial Lotion. Vit-A-Plus should be applied prior to cream-based products such as Facial Cream, Advanced Hydrating Complex - Cream or Sunblock.

Directions for Application:
Incorporate the use of Vit-A-Plus by simply adding it into your client's current skin care routine.
Step 1 Cleanse face with the appropriate M.D. Formulations cleanser, based on skin type.
Step 2 Vit-A-Plus should be applied after gel or liquid-based products. If using cream based products, apply Vit-A-Plus before the application of these products.

Frequency:
When first incorporating Vit-A-Plus into the clients current skin care routine, initially use once every third day. Increase usage of Vit-A-Plus gradually, working up to once or twice daily applications over a four-week period.

Note: A mild, temporary stinging sensation may be noted on sensitive skin. If redness, irritation or excessive stinging develops, have client wash product off and stop using until all signs of irritation are gone. Once all signs of irritation are gone, gradually resume applications.

What to do if:
Irritation and/or excessive stinging occurs: A mild, temporary stinging sensation may be noted during initial days of use. If client experiences stinging, recommend waiting 15 minutes after cleansing before applying Vit-A-Plus. If redness, irritation or excessive stinging develops, have client wash product off and discontinue use. Once all signs of irritation subside, gradually resume applications once every other day. If there is no sign of irritation, usage can be increased gradually. Some clients may only be able to tolerate once daily application. Do not exceed twice daily application.
