I've also heard good things about IBM and Toshiba as far as PCs go. In fact, I almost went with a Toshiba when I was laptop shopping last year. Even though Sony tends to be overpriced, I still went with one b/c the screen clarity and color is very high quality and it was the closest quality I could get to a Mac. I use and plan to use more visual based applications such as Photoshop and Illustrator where screen quality becomes important to me. |
