Bethany,
How did you manage to take off too much skin on your cheekbone? |
I think I left the DermaNew on that area too long, or I went back over the area too many times. I ended up with a raw spot that scabbed over and then it left a pigmented spt about the size of a nickle. |

Jom:
Thanks for your question. I'll try not to write a book, because I would much rather you get Dr. Obagi's professional opinion.
If you wish, pm me your name (and when/where your appt is), and I'll make sure that Dr. Obagi spends some extra time with you. (not to worry if you're shy; he's not one bit shy--there's never a dull moment with him!)
ZO Daily Power Defense does moisturize (like Rileygirl and Petalutha said), but that's not it's primary function. It's a stimulator, which you have not included in the products that you mention. You may not need it--especially if you're young!
ZO's Ommerse cremes deeply nourish and calm the skin after the surface has been exfoliated and stimulators have been applied. If you experience some irritation, it's important to quickly quiet that irritation (it's a major cause of skin aging). As part of Dr. Obagi’s Skin Health philosophy, these products work by rehydrating and repairing the skin barrier. So are they moisturizing? Yes (as Bethany had said). Is that their primary purpose? No.
Hope that helps--I'm sure he'll be able to give you a better and more informed opinion.
Thanks.
