I am planning to use a moisturizer containing 8 % glycolic acid on top of my vitamin C serum (SkinCeuticals Phloretin CF).
There is one product from Alpha-H containing both vitamin C and glycolic acid, but as far as I am concerned, this is not a common combination in skin care products.
I would think that glycolic acid helps with the penetration of vitamin C and have never heard that one of them cancels out the effect of the other etc, but am not 100 % sure.
Does anybody know? Anybody use this combo:? |
I think you'll be OK with that combo Septembergirl. I would just wait at least 10 minutes after applying the Vit C to apply the glycolic. |
