Well, I kinda think Maddonna is starting to look alittle chipmunky. The same look Kylie Minogue and Nicole Kidman have. I saw "Australia" and there was a close up of Nicole Kidman's face when she was in the stables (at her English estate) and she had that blubber lip thing going and in some shots her face looked frozen. It looked pretty bad to me and I think it was enough to turn me off botox and restylene.
I do admire celebrities like Cate Blanchette, Juliette Binoche, Julie Delphy, Meryl Streep, Judi Dench, Helen Mirren and etc... those who seem to be developing lines or have lines but still look well maintained and polished. I think I'd take the experience and sophistication these ladies have then look like a mannequin as I get older. Somethimes, I think the beauty industry emphasizes too much on looking young, besides what is wrong with growing old and looking old?
This isn't a judgement on other women or men who are all for cosmetic alterations or interventions and I've seen women who are happy with their botox and restylene but I honestly didn't think the botox made a huge difference. I honestly thought they looked just as good if not better without the botox and restylene.
I just keep remembering Nicole Kidman's botox free phase when she was pregnant and thought she looked much better even with the crows feet. |
