You look young and have nice clear skin and an exotic look. Cut yourself a break and try to see your beauty. We all pick ourselves apart and you shouldn't be this upset over your looks at such a young age.
If you've had a bad diet..I'd suggest green smoothies and eating right. That will affect your skin in a great way. and being so young, I bet it will really help. If your cheeks bother you that much? and you have the $$ Go get some filler and see how you like it. It is temporary and will give you time to determine where to go from there.
all of us on here go through phases of focusing on one thing. I find it usually passes..and the problem was not really a problem at all. |

You definitely do not need fillers. You are not lacking fullness anywhere, and I personally think it would ruin how great you already look.
You may, however, hold a bit of tension in your mouth corners (esp. on your right side, which is our left), which when combined with your lovely pouty full lips may give the appearance of a slight downturn at the very edge of your lips. (Btw, you have totally amazing lips!!) So I agree with everyone else: nothing that a very slight smile and some massage at your lip corners to release any tension couldn't fix! |

| I think you have a lovely face and do not need anything artificial done. They say a smile is a natural facelift as it lifts your cheeks and whole face up. I know we can not all go around with a smile plastered on our faces all the time but just try thinking of things that really please you and it will put a different expression on your face. The expression you now have pulls everything downward. |
Some of my friends often think I'm a little too serious.Sometimes they think I'm unhappy. But I'm not at all.Maybe my expressions are showing unhappy. |
That is what I thought seeing your pictures, you look unhappy.
I don't see any need for any drastic procedures at all even fillers.
Don't be so hard on yourself you have a lovely face and very nice skin.
Enjoy and smile a bit more! |
Thank you |

LOL. daler I think we all have those GOD AWFUL bathroom mirrors that make us look horrible! I know I hate mine. |
O nice! I am not alone then! |
Not by a long shot! I think between horrible bathroom lighting and evil 10X magnifying mirrors we all think we look worse than we do! |
I don't own a magnifying mirror n no intentions of getting one either! In fact I dread the day I wipe my bathroom mirror clean, lol.. every imperfection is so clear... |

Hi,cm5597.Do you think I have tear troughs and NL folds? |
Definitely not. For comparison, here is a photo of a woman who has a moderate level of tear troughs and NL folds:

I would LOVE to have your facial fullness. You have lovely contours
(My apologies for just catching up with this thread.) |

Cesc&Helena,
I don't know how old you are, but from your photos, you look to me like you are in your early twenties. You definitely do not have flat cheeks. You look to me to be in the stage of your life BEFORE your peak cheekbone attractiveness (described below), so getting fillers would only ruin this; it is the opposite of what you need.
What I mean is when you (meaning anyone) is young, you have a lot of fullness in your cheeks. As you age, more and more of that fullness (which is initially largely baby fat) goes away. As some of the fullness goes away in your lower face, it starts to make your cheekbones look higher and more pronounced. Eventually, you get to the point of your maximum cheekbone height--or the maximum attractiveness of your cheekbones. Thereafter, the continuing decline in facial volume plus the beginning of sagging in the undereye and upper cheekbone area starts the decline of this maximum cheekbone beauty. This is a slow process spanning normally a couple (or more decades), but is very individual.
If you're lucky, you get your maximum cheek beauty later in life; this looks to me to be your fate. If you're unlucky like me, you get it super young (mine was probably around 8th grade).
Angelina Jolie is a perfect example of this. She had fuller upper and lower cheeks as a kid (maybe what some might caller "flatter", but in my opinion, this is not the right characterization of what is going on). But then the gradual but small loss of volume eventually revealed amazing cheekbones in her 20's and 30's. Only this past year (I think she's 36 now?) do I think she is now just starting to come down slowly from her peak cheekbone attractiveness. Obviously it served her well
From your photo, it looks to me that you have not reached your peak cheekbone look but that you are still on the up and up. That is, it looks to me like you are on a similar trajectory as Angelina but that your peak cheekbone look is going to come a little bit later than hers. This is my personal opinion, so I wouldn't touch a thing. You have terrific fullness in your face and a look going well for you. (And If anything, I would do isometric facial exercises a couple times a week to be able to keep your youthful look for a long time, but you don't even need that yet.)
Finally, I would get good friends who value you for your spirit. There's nothing like having that positive reinforcement and boost to your self-esteem. The most important thing in life is who we are and how we act.
Hugs |
