I was reading about this serum. I have fine hair that poofs up. It is difficult for me to get smooth hair without flattening it.
Has anyone used this serum:
oscar blandi jasmine serum
If so what did you think and can you please tell me your hair type.
TIA.

Emma, I use it on my frizzy wavy hair and it's really good. But I don't know if I should use it any longer since it has dimethiconal in it.. I think I'm going to go look at John's Master Organics Defrizzer serum. |

Thank you for that.
I've been thinking about the John Masters hair pomade but don't know if that'd be too heavy for my hair. |

I've used this mostly just because of the smell it definitely helped smooth though. I've also put it on my cuticles at times. What does dimethiconal do? |

Dimethiconal.. I think it's a silicone? I heard it's bad for your hair. I really like this oil too.. and the smell is really addicting. It's the only serum that can keep my hair frizz-free right now. I used to use Mucota oil and it's similar to it, except Jasmine Oil Serum is much cheaper.

Hi again Emma!
I use this too on my thick, coarse, curly hair. It does indeed smell divine and the texture seems lighter than other frizz-free type of pdts. It does a pretty good job on keeping the frizzies at bay, but not perfect (I don't think such a pdt really exists - I haven't found it yet anyway).
I'm fairly new here, so I'm still learning about what's good and what's bad. Recently someone posted here that this serum was not so good for your hair. I just bought a bottle recently, so while I'm using it up I'm going to investigate around for healthier options for my hair. |

I've used it...I have long straight fine hair. Its nice but not worth the price tag. I found that I liked Neutrogena Triple Shine serum much better and its much cheaper. The smell IS great but not worth the price. |

Thank you all for your replies.
I'm glad you said that about the Mucota Poohlisey as that made my hair go too flat.
My hair is so hard to get right.

Hi,
I like it. I am almost finished with my first bottle and will probably buy again. I've used it on wet hair before blow drying, mixed with a styling foam on wet hair before blow drying and also on dry hair. It works well to keep my hair in control and adds shine. I have to be careful not to use too much or it can look greasy--like any other serum.
BTW, my hair is color treated, fine, and wavy with longish layers.

I've used the Oscar Blandi serum. I really liked the scent, but didn't find that it worked any better or worse than other smoothing serums. |
