I'm on a quest for some pretty lipgloss to wear outdoors. I have no problem finding pretty colors with SPF 15 (Prada no 5 for one - ) but the sun is strong here and I would like more sun protection than that.
It seems that the SPF 30 and above choices are all chapstick type lip balms, which aren't pretty and leave my lips feeling terrible! Does anyone know of anything nice for lips with SPF 30 or above? Glosses and balm ideas are both welcome, just no chapstick please |

I have never seen one with such high SPF. It would be great if it actually exists. I would like to know too |

i've searched far and wide and have yet to come up with one.... that's another reason i tend to wear a heavier but moisturising lipstick. i have a group of guys i used to go backpacking with and they'd make fun of me, stinky and smelly and white as a ghost from sunscreen except for this coloured gash across my lips. *anything* i do outdoors, including swimming in the ocean, i will usually have multiple layers of lipstick on even if i wear no other makeup.... i learned the hard way after a rockclimbing weekend with only Prada gloss (easy to stash in the pocket) -- i came back with multiple, and i mean multiple, freckles on my lips! |

Maybe one of the DIY ladies on the forum could whip something pretty up with a high SPF. I would be first in line! My lips get burned after a day at the beach or on a boat - and I hate chapstick.
I have been experimenting with just using my Shu Uemura SPF 50 for face on my lips, then putting a pretty gloss over it. I think the gloss probably cuts the SPF down though
I wish Paul and Joe would put high SPF in their glosses. I just bought 9 of them (no SPF and all) cause I love the texture and colors. They would be the perfect gloss if they added a SPF 30 or higher. |

I've seen something called Fiji Blend Loss Gloss on some sites here and there that I noticed only because it says it's SPF 25 and it claims to suppress your appetite for sweets... haven't tried it myself yet though. |
