What is the best product for removing blackheads. My friend has quite a few on her chin. And some around her cheeks. She sometimes squeeses them, which ihave told her not to do. But apart from that i can't advise anything else. Also she has dry skin not oily skin.

Decleor Ylang Ylang oil has totally cleared up all the stubborn blackheads on my nose! I also have dry skin and have tried all the drugstore products that just further dried out my skin and nothing else. It is expensive but so worth it. Maybe you can ask EDS for a sample next time you place an order, they are so good about that.

You may want to have her try Decleor's Essential Balm rather than the ylang ylang oil. The ylang ylang oil is for oily skin and it may dry her out even more.

Also you shouldn't use the Ylang Ylang oil unless you follow up with the appropriate Decleor moisturiser (apparently!) although this is up for discussion at http://www.essentialdayspa.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=4345

I second Decleor Essential Balm. Also, continual use of the Dr Hauschka Cleansing Cream has worked wonderfully to get rid of (and keep away) blackheads on my face and minimize pores also.

BLACK PEPPER AND CURD
Take one tablespoon black pepper powder and add to it enough curd to make thick paste. Apply on the infected area and let it dry. Wash off after 5-7 mintues. This is an effective cure for blackheads or to get rid of blackheads.
OATMEAL AND YOGHURT
Take 2 tablespoons of oatmeal and 3 tablespoon of yoghurt. Mix and add tablespoon of lemon juice and one teaspoon of olive oil. Blend and whisk well together in a bowl. Wash your hands then apply over infected area first, then all over the face. Leave in for 5-7 mintues and then rinse with cold water. Very effective for blackheads or to get rid of blackheads.
Mix Cornstarch With Vinegar, plaster on the area for 15-30 minutes; wash off with washcloth and warm water, this helps to get rid blackheads
Cucumber
Peel cucumber and place in blender. Blend until cucumber is of a pasty consistency, but not too watery. Take the mixture and apply as a face mask leaving it on face for 25 min's. This procedure not only clears the acne, blackheads but also cools down your face leaving you feeling refreshed. Helps to get rid blackheads

I don't think I'd ever even try the black pepper mask, but the other two sound good, especially the oatmeal and yogurt mask!

Looks like some great tips & recipes on that site!
