I am going to start derma-rolling to try and get rid of a few acne scars. To help with collagen production I would like to make topical Vitamin C.
Where would be a good place to order skin grade l-ascorbic acid and what would be a good agent to mix it with I have read that many just use water but, would pure aloe vera gel work as a way to moisturize as well?
Thank you |

There is a list of DIY suppliers here: http://www.essentialdayspa.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=32529
I've used L-AA from Skinactives, Garden of Wisdom, and skin Essential Actives.
You can mix it with water or aloe right before using. Or mix up a recipe with vit e and ferulic -there are many posted on EDS. |

I tended to have best results using water and vit c, waiting a while then washing it off and using a moisturiser.
Skin can get irritated though, so have a couple of days off if this occurs. |
