Or skin laxity?
Have you noticed that or actually the opposite result?
Please clear this doubt, thank You! |

I do not do facial exercise myself yet on a regular basis just massage but I have been looking into facial exercise for a long time and from the reports I have read on this form and elsewhere of women who actually do facial exercise I really think the results are positive aadd something I am intend to start with myself.
I have heard people criticize it but these are mostly from people who haven't practiced it d sometimese have their own adgenda of pushing another product etc.
It is useful to bear in mind that with any skincare regime you might at first notice changes that "freak you out" but that is just a transitional phase. Also we do all change as we age and in all honesty anything you do is unlikely to make you look as you did when you were 21 so your post exercised face my have a more angular or less soft look than your younger face but it is probabaly still preferable to the deep wrinkles and sagging that are likely to occur if no action is taken.
I have found facial massage nothing but helpful in boosting the appearance of my skin the Tanaka Face Massage on youtube is great, you can start off gentle and build up to a pressure that suit you. |

I also do massage but not exercises.
I have not noticed any negative long term effects as of yet. My forehead got better before it got worse, but "all's well that ends well," right?
All in all, it's actually made more of a difference than I was expecting. The shape of my face is more feminine and youthful now. I know it isn't due to ONLY the facial massage, but I believe it helped greatly. |

(In my opinion), just like we exercise to keep our body firm, it is also important that we do facial exercises or massages to the face/neck so that these areas will become firm too. One thing I do is also incorporate skin-care creams to go with these facial/neck exercises. |

As for my above post, I meant "WORSE before it got BETTER." *facepalm* |

Hello, morocha,
I did facial exercises (Flex Effect) for a year, and have now switched to a combination of those exercises and muscle contraction by microcurrent.
I experienced no laxity, but rather increased firmness. I did not use the topical agents recommended in that first year, but still there were no adverse effects. People commented that I looked slimmer in the face, but not in a bad way. I asked for advice on the board, and was told that you really need to work the face to build up solid muscles. I could not manage any kind of real bulk, though, but the face still stayed firm.
I believe it is important to feed yourself - and your skin - well when doing facial exercises, plenty of vitamins, fresh greens and protein, so your body has what it needs to build muscles. |

Carolyn's Facial Fitness which incorporates massage into the exercises has not made my face muscles lax. It's been quite the opposite for me. And if you look at Carolyn's face when she was 53, you can see she had some sag in her facial muscles making the apples of her cheeks hang and she had slight jowls:
Carolyn is now in her 60's and you can see her face in the video below made at the age of 65 and the tone in her face speaks for itself:

Here's another vid of Carolyn from 3 years before the one above and again, you can see that her face has better tone than when she was years younger:

It is a revelation what facial massages and/or exercises can do to improve and tone sagging skin. Thanks Nonie aka AD |
