Hi everyone! I am 21 years old and very overwhelmed about how to take care of my skin. There are so many products and it is so confusing to figure out what is best for me. Right now, I am using Ponds Rejuveness cream and sometimes Ponds Dry Skin cream during the day with spf 50 from Neutragena. At night, I use a Clinique cleanser & toner right now and I also use the Ponds cream along with prescription Retin-A. Is this a good method? I see everyone talks about vitamin C but I take vitamin C orally, is that ok/ the same? Also, sometimes I use a facial mask such as Queen Helene Mint Julep or the Aztec Clay from whole foods but I try not to do it too much since it dries my skin out (so I don't know if I should do facials at all or which to pick/make for my dry skin?) Should I be looking into a different skin cream such as Eucerin Anti-wrinkle or CeraVe PM instead of the Ponds? I am confused on if I am doing the right things. What would you guys recommend for me? I have very pale dry skin but get very oily in the T zone (in between eyebrows and on chin) and I also have sort of 3 faint fine lines that are horizontal across my forehead and 2 vertical lines in between my eyebrows, kind of like railroads . I don't know if a part of it is because I am really thin though..
Also any advice on what to moisturize my lips with? Burts Bees never seems to moisturize mine enough and right now I am using Nivea Honey chapstick but my lips peel everyday... |
