I stumbled across this study that says topical tretinoin therapy is linked with a higher mortality rate. What do you all think?

I do not feel alarmed. yet I am not an expert on studies. I've read my fair share that seemed better than this one.

Maybe other members who are more proficient in these matters will weigh in..

I think there was some discussion about it in one of these older threads:

- Tretinoin creams may be dangerous to smokers

Is Tretinoin (Retin-A, Renova, etc) unsafe?

Well having used it for 30 years plus, and in my 60's I'd say that I doubt it is true for me. I may be one of the lucky ones though Laughing

What was the bit about Vit. D and A together on one forum? Good or bad? I'd think it would be good.

Didn't read everything but it sounded like smoking was more important than Retin A. I bet you could say that using shampoo amongst that group would have killed the same number of people.
