Has anyone tried this. It was voted best new product by Day Spa magazine. It is said to be good for sun damaged skin. |

I have not tried it, but have heard about it too. Do you know where I can get a sample?
Thanks,

I'm always leary of reviewing a product until I've used it for at least three months to ensure that I'm giving you the most honest opinion I can.
That being said, I think the Aminogenesis line is very nice with all of the ingredients we look for in products (C,E,DMAE, etc.)but at least right now, it's not on my reorder list. It doesn't have enough of the "wow" factor to make me want to reorder this.
The Photolagen makes your skin feel and look great, and it's loaded with "good stuff" but for me, I don't think it's helped much if at all with my hyperpigmentation. However, I do have light melasma on both cheeks which may be different than sundamage. Some say they're different, others say it's the same thing. Who knows?!
After visiting with an estetician, I have decided to give Nucelle (mandelic acid) a shot. I am hoping that with this and the IS Clinical I have "moved on" to, that I can really report back here with more positive news.
If you do decide to go for the Photolagen, if you go to the Aminogenesis site and type the code #2607 at checkout, you should get a 15% discount off of your order. If you do try it, I hope your experience is a good one!

Maria,
Thank you for the info. My biggest problem now is pigmentation and I am constantly looking for something that will work for the problem. I was very attemting to try Photolagen. Since it does not work too well for you, I will not spend big bucks on that. I think I will try IS Clinical's products too. What is Nucelle (mandelic acid)?

Rose, if you were thinking of trying Photolagen, maybe it will work for you. I know everyone's skin reacts differently. I think I just have product-resistent skin!
The Nucelle is "supposed" to help w/ melasma and mandelic is supposed to be a very gentle aha. It is used to treat acne, rosacea, and melasma, and I did read a study that said it did a better job than most products, including HQ. So, here I am trying it. Only on day two.
Since I still have the Photolagen left, I'm applying a little bit on top of the mandelic at night to maybe give it a jumpshot....My wish is to report back that I'm having great success.
IS Clinical is a great line, but if you think Photolagen is expensive, be prepared to shell out some bucks for IS Clinical too! YIKES! I order mine from skinterra.com, and they won't let you order anything until you fill out a skin questionaire, then they get right back to you with their recommendations. Other gals on this forum have ordered from estheticallycorrect.com as the prices are better but I think a lot of the IS Clinical Line is on backorder.
I'll let you know if I see better results adding the Nucelle (which I got on skincarerx.com) with the Photolagen. The IS Clinical Super Serum I use during the day, and alternate the healing serum w/ the Nucelle at night.
Good luck!
