Hi Josee,
I explained how the Jazzing works on the thread below, you apply at home to freshly washed damp hair, applying heat helps a great deal. It works by coating each hair strand, fills the cuticle layer of the hair. I get great results with it and I am using it over colored hair (no choice anymore).

What would one of these products do for thick, course, wavy hair w/ cowlicks?
I'd like to go for a more 'natural' look that seems popular right now, the looser, wavy look. But, with my cowlicks, I have trouble restraining those and my hair settles into the strangest positions. I straighten it most days w/ a flat iron and occasionally will do a curly look (with lots of product and scrunching involved).
Can these tame a little 'wild' hair?? Perhaps make it more managable?
I can get the shiney look w/ the products and flat iron I already use, anyway. |
Ok...so I used the glaze on Sunday and I have had the best two hair days IN YEARS since doing it. My never-shiney-hair, has had a little bit of shine and been curlier than usual and the wild gray ones do seem to be a little tamer. I think you should try it Foxe. I am really impressed so far! |

Does anyone know if Jazzing can be used on hair colored with natural henna/indigo? (By "natural" I mean it's pure henna and indigo powder, not a commercial henna hair color formulation.) And is Jazzy simply a clear form of commercial hair color? I ask because I'm allergic to regular hair color (ferocious itching/scabs on scalp/hair loss) but I don't know specifically what ingredient(s) causes the reaction. |
I would consider Clairol Jazzing to be a clear form of commerical colour. You can contact Clairol for ingredients.
Maybe you should consider a shine spray or shine serum? |

I have used it over Henna in the past.
Jazzing comes in colors as well as clear, here are some reviews and some ingredients. I believe Lacy posted a link to the full ingredient list earlier.
