Llucy....I am one who would rather DIY on just about everything. But when it come to MSM, I found an "off the shelf" product you might want to try. It beats anything I could mix up on my own, particularly because it contains microencapsulated MSM, which as far as I know, isn't available from any of the usual DIY ingredient suppliers.
It's called MSM Cream by Source Naturals and I order it online from Vitacost and buy several jars at once. The best part...it's $4.34 for a 2 ounce jar! At that price, I can use it all over -- not just on my face.
Ingredients: Purified Water, Methylsulfonylmethane (15% MSM), Aloe Vera leaf gel, Stearic Acid, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (Emollient), Vegetable Oil, Lecithin Phospholipid, Glycerin, Sweet Almond Oil, Jojoba Oil, Cetearyl Alcohol & Ceteareth-20 (Emulsifiers), Phenoxyethanol (Preservative), Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A), Ergocalciferol (Vitamin D), Panthenol (Vitamin B-5), Aminomethyl Propanol (Solubilizer), Grapefruit Seed Extract, Chamomile Flower Extract, Ginkgo Leaf Extract, Ginseng Root Extract, Xanthan Gum and Rosemary Leaf Oil. Other: Tree nuts (almond) and soy. |
